Green the Practical Way

Welcome to Practically Green the Hagan Way. We are an average suburbian family with too much stuff and not enough cash-flow. Since losing my 4th job inside of 2 years, I have started a cleaning company cleaning the way God intended with substances straight from nature. During my first weeks of cleaning I stumbled around, making mistakes, and learning a lot. In this blog you will find practical advice and easy tips for living a more earth-friendly lifestyle.

Before we begin, here are a few things you will want to keep in mind as you follow our path to decreasing waste, minimizing expenses, and improving health:

1. "Going Green" is a personal decision. Never allow yourself to feel guilted into doing something just because it is fashionable.
2. Green living isn't just a fad--it is a way of life. This isn't a new concept. Our grandparents lived this way decades before Hollywood got so fascinated with recycling.
3. Green living is not only responsible it is biblical. God tells us in the first chapter of Genesis to take care of the earth (1: 28-30).

I trust you will not only enjoy learning about our path to green living, but will also learn a thing or two along the way.
